Drew D. Pettus is a member of the Washington State and District of Columbia Bar Associations. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

 From 1977 to 1988 Mr. Pettus served in many different capacities in the U.S. Congress in Washington, D.C., including service as Counsel to the Committee on Rules, U.S. House of Representatives, and Counsel to the House Energy and Commerce Committee. From 1988 to 1995 he was a Partner in the Washington, D.C., law firm of Preston Gates Ellis & Rouvelas Meeds.

Over the years, Mr. Pettus has represented corporate clients such as Weyerhaeuser, Boeing, USWest, TCI and Georgia Pacific. Clients have also included countless individuals who have sought help with their problems in immigrating to the United States or in straightening out disputes with the Customs Service or other U.S. Government agencies.

Since moving to the west coast of the United States to open his own law practice in 1996, Mr. Pettus has assisted a number of U.S. businesses in their efforts to open business entities in China and Vietnam.
